Teams: One team bats, while the other bowls and fields. The roles switch after a set number of overs (a set of six balls bowled).
Batting: The batting team tries to score runs by hitting the ball with a bat. Runs can be scored in various ways, such as running between wickets or hitting boundaries (4 runs for the ball crossing the boundary on the ground, 6 runs if it flies over the boundary).
Bowling: The bowling team aims to get the batsmen out. They can do so by getting them caught, bowled, or through other methods like leg before wicket (LBW).
Overs: Each bowler delivers a set number of overs (usually six balls). After that, a new bowler takes over.
Game Formats: Cricket has different formats, ranging from Test matches (played over five days), to One Day Internationals (50 overs per team), and T20 (20 overs per team).
The team with the highest number of runs at the end of the match wins. Cricket is known for its strategy, teamwork, and rich history.
