PACA’s ground use rules for local and Visiting Teams
- General Conduct
- All players, coaches, and spectators must behave respectfully toward officials, opponents, and facility staff.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct, abusive language, or misconduct will not be tolerated.
- Teams are responsible for the behavior of their players and supporters.
- Ground Access & Scheduling
- Use of the ground is strictly limited to allocated time slots.
- Teams must arrive and vacate the ground on time to avoid delays.
- Unauthorized use of the ground is prohibited.
- Pitch Protection
- Only designated personnel may prepare or alter the pitch.
- No practice on the match pitch unless approved.
- Proper footwear must be worn to avoid damage (no metal spikes).
- Practice Areas
- Ensure safe distances are maintained to avoid injury to others.
- Visiting teams must follow instructions provided by the home team/umpire or local association board member.
- Equipment & Facilities
- Teams must bring their own equipment unless otherwise arranged.
- Shared facilities like porta potty must be kept clean.
- Any damage to property must be reported immediately.
- Safety Requirements
- Players must use appropriate protective gear (helmets, pads, gloves, etc.).
- No play is allowed if conditions are unsafe (e.g., poor weather, wet pitch).
- Follow all emergency and first-aid procedures if required.
- Waste & Cleanliness
- Teams must clean up their area after use.
- Dispose of garbage in designated bins.
- No littering on the ground or surrounding areas.
- Keep a box of garbage bags in you team kits. If for some reason you don’t have one, ask the home team or umpire.
- Please add not to use compost bin that’d be near porta potty, for garbage.
- Alcohol, Smoking, and Substances
- Smoking, alcohol, or illegal substances are prohibited within the school premises that includes not only the ground but also the parking lot and the kids playing area.
- Violations may result in removal from the premises.
- Parking & Spectators
- Use designated parking areas only.
- Spectators must remain outside the boundary lines and must not enter the playing area at any time.
- Teams are responsible for ensuring their supporters follow ground rules.
- Match Officials & Rules Compliance
- All matches must follow the applicable cricket laws and competition rules.
- Umpires’ decisions are final and must be respected.
- Any disputes should be addressed through proper channels after the game.
- Liability
- PACA will not be responsible for the loss or theft of equipment, and/or personal belongings.
- Teams are responsible for their own refreshments.
- For ODP games, Umpire’s lunch will be home team’s responsibility.
- Enforcement
- Failure to comply with these rules may result in:
- Warnings
- Suspension of ground privileges (As applicable by SCA)
- Financial penalties (As applicable by SCA)
