Prince Albert Cricket Association (PACA) is the only cricket body in Prince Albert and is affiliated with the Saskatchewan Cricket Association and Cricket Canada. Our main objective is to promote the game of cricket among the residents of Prince Albert and the surrounding area. PACA is a conglomerate of players from various cricket-playing nations around the world.
We are a non-profit organization supported by several local businesses that assist us with equipment purchases, player development, club rooms, and general operational expenses. Since our inauguration in 2017, we have been one of the core members of the Saskatoon Cricket League. The clubs under PACA have won several awards, including the Spirit of the Game Award in 2017.
As a new organization, we did not have a home ground in 2017, which meant our team had to travel to Saskatoon for all games. However, in collaboration with the Sask Rivers School Division, PACA is proud to have established our home ground at Red Wing School. We are grateful to them for sharing their playground and facilities with us.
In 2023, the Prince Albert Pythons were re-branded as the Prince Albert Panthers. With more new members joining our community, we wanted to introduce a fresh name and logo to reflect this growth.
In 2024, the Prince Albert Panthers joined the Emperors Cricket Club. That year also saw the expansion of cricket in Prince Albert with the registration of the Prince Albert Jaguars for the season. The PA Panthers emerged as Division 2 champions in the Saskatoon Cricket League, competing against nine other teams.
In 2025, the Prince Albert Cricket Association welcomed two new clubs: PA Giants Cricket Club and Phantoms Cricket Club.
